Hope Church Perth began in 1993 when two young women from Singapore followed God’s call to plant a church in Perth, Western Australia. With faith and courage, they left the familiar behind to play their part in God’s dream of making disciples of all nations. Their passion for God and people quickly took root, especially among university students, and from those humble beginnings, a vibrant community began to grow.

Over the past 30 years, both our city and our church have transformed. Perth has become a melting pot of cultures, and God has brought people from across 20 nations into our church family. While some of our early members have moved on and others have made Perth their home, new generations continue to rise — all carrying the same heart to know God and make Him known. We believe that our God, who is love and who loves this world has brought people from all over the world to Perth. We pray for God’s favour to enlarge our community by reaching some.

Today, Hope Church Perth is a multigenerational, multicultural community of believers who love God and love people wherever they come from. We are part of the Hope International Ministries (H.I.M.) family — an apostolic movement with over 700 locations in 38 nations, united by a shared vision to bring God’s hope to our world through winning souls, making disciples, and planting churches.
